What Rocked:
I absolutely adore books that are “marriage before love.” Ashlyn was a Hollywood starlet, doing and trusting all the wrong things and people. She was beautiful, saw the good in everyone around her, but not perfect and that is what makes her relatable. I love her attitude about living life exactly how she wants without apology. It didn’t matter that her wild rides were caught by the rag mags, or even that she had a crappy childhood. Cash Crawford realized that the girl he was with, was not THE ONE. He decides to finally take his brother up on a job offer and move back to California. He is now working for his brother, Carter (who is Ashlyn’s agent) as a junior agent instead of as a lawyer out of state. He is put in charge of keeping Ashlyn out of trouble and helping her get her life together. The night before he is supposed to start, he marries a woman who he finds crazy, sexy, and amazing. That woman is Ashlyn. I love his immediate gravitation to her. He is completely in. He spoils Ash and finds he may have found his forever.
What was Out of Tune:
The ending seemed a bit rushed. I didn’t really want it to end, so that may be why. In all honesty, I would have loved to see more about the healing Ashlyn and her mom go through.
Overall:
This was such a great, fast paced, sexy little read and I am so happy I took a chance on a new to me author. We all want that type of love. And not just a Vegas Love. One that is complete and never breakable. Jillian Dodd is definitely an author I would revisit!

I find it mind-boggling that I have more than half of Jillian Dodd’s books on my App for months yet “Vegas Love” is the first book of hers that have read so far. I have no idea why I overlooked her stories. If I had known just how terrific her writing was, I would have added them to my “go-to” list when needing something light and entertaining a long time ago.
“Vegas Love” is about a Hollywood starlet named Ashlyn Roberts whose life is on the brink of spiraling out of control. In fairness, most of it isn’t her fault, rather, it is the people around her that are making her life unbearable. The past months consisted nothing but continuous frustrations and setbacks. One really couldn’t blame her for wanting to be spontaneous especially if it was happening in Sin City and involved one Cash Crawford.
If you’ve read the synopsis you know exactly what occurs while in Vegas. At first I was a bit taken aback with just how far Ashlyn was willing to go to obtaining her fun and I questioned her judgement repeatedly but then as the story moved along I realized that everything happened for a reason. Her spontaneity could have ruined her but instead, it was a God send and I was relieved that Jillian Dodd was able to manipulate a potentially disastrous situation into something opposite.
What I loved most about the book was witnessing just how compatible the couple were. From the very beginning, their chemistry was spectacular. The real question was if it would stay that way after the novelty wore off and, sure enough, the author didn’t disappoint in that aspect either. It has been proven that they were meant to be together. I can definitely see this couple standing the test of time.
Another thing that I appreciated was the supporting characters. Even if they were briefly mentioned in this story, their character caught my attention and I can’t wait to spend time immersing myself in their world too.
This book is getting 5 stars from me. The main reason is CASH. I am a huge "The Keatyn Chronicles" fan and Aiden is my boy. #TopBookBF. He pretty much set the bar for all BBF. But then in this book I meet Cash. Ladies, he is what book boyfriends are all about. He is SEXY, SWEET, THOUGHTFUL, there are so many moments I was swooning so hard.
This book had a little of everything, drama, sex, Hollywood, nostalgia (a little mention on past cast mates), and it was a book I really did not want to put down.
Ashlyn and Cash have this world-win romance, but it is fun and I love watching these romance blossom, even though they kind of did it backwards. Once again Jillian Dodd knows how to through a bunch of great characters together and give you a fantastic read.
